My name is Jacek Minkowski. I have been tattooing since 1996. It's been a long journey to Avalon Tattoo where I'm currently employed. I grew up in Poland and moved to Chicago at the age of fourteen. That's where I started to hone my craft at Fat Joe's Jade Dragon Tattoo. Shortly before moving to San Diego, I worked at Dr. Dean's Tatu Tattoo, another cool shop with a great atmosphere. Thanks to wonderful Patty Kelley and Fip Buchanan, I have had the opportunity to grow and thrive as an artist at Avalon Tattoo since 1999. Avalon Tattoo is more like a family; I love working there.









My main interests include tattooing, painting and photography.
